I went to college as a single parent on the weekends while raising my son. I decided to be practical and I earned a business degree. I have owned my own business and have worked for several chambers of commerce in various cities. I met my husband about twelve years go and for the first time in my life, I didn't have to work. I was able to spend time using the creative side of my brain.

I started making mosaics about seven years ago. I love the art form. It is so much fun to take a base and develop a design using all types of materials. I personally love a whimsical style but have used many styles in creating my mosaic pieces.
